An Arm & a Leg

This is the result of the viewing of the movie "Christmas Story" on Dec 25, 2020. My son-in-law said he always wanted one of those and my daughter didn't think that was a good idea, but the ideas were running rampant in my warped mind. The idea of a hairy masculine leg seamed like the way to go since I didn't have a source for a black mesh stocking. The movie kind of hid the top of the leg so I didn't know how to mount a lamp socket and shade, so I came up with the idea for the shelf and and the arm. Note: If you have the nasty idea that the lamp socket comes out of a certain finger it does not. The material is eastern white pine with a lacquer finish.
