Barber pole

Barber pole

The pole is one of 2 that I made for my local barber Jake Deblieck with the agreement that I would turn 2 and he would pay for one and paint both. The 2 poles were made from locally grown eastern white pine. The base is 7 1/2" square planed down from an 8 x 8 x about 74" long for a finished height of 6 feet. The pole will be located outside so it was green treated after the tuning was complete.
