Blossom On The Wave

Blossom On The Wave
Further explores my wave series, this bowl is made from kilin dried Sycamore, rough turned to allow any distortion to occur and when i was sure there was no further movement, I turned it to a 1.5mm wall thickness. It was then pierced and decorated with my blossom flowers pattern using pyrography on the wave area. The bowl is 6” in diameter and 2.9” high. Really pleased that my latest piece has been included in the “Small Treasures exhibition hosted by Wood Symphony Gallery.
