Box Elder Burl

Box Elder Burl

This piece was so riddled with worm holes, I turned it using lower than normal rpm for safety sake. Based on my experience finishing this type of wood, I decided to leave it unfinished. Not a functional piece, but a delight to hold and feel the various textures. 9 inch diameter by 3 inches high.
