It's been an ordeal getting back online and it couldn't have been done without all of the hard work done by Phil McDonald, Michael Seufer, and Chris Fairbanks. Phil McDonald, the AAW Executive Director. put in countless hours trying to deal with our hosting service, HostGator. Dealing with them has been a real challenge. I want to especially thank forum member Chris Fairbanks for so generously providing desperately needed assistance in getting us back online. His expertise has been invaluable.

HostGator shut down our site when they claimed that we were essentially maxing out the CPU on our shared server. Basically, the only near-term workable solution offered to us was to move the forum to a dedicated server at a huge increase in cost. We will be looking at various options which include possibly going to a different hosting service. We will make a decision within the next three months.

The good news is that the AAW Forum is now fully secure. Even if you login using an unsecure connection, you will be automatically redirected to a secure connection.
