As you already know, AAW leadership has been carefully monitoring the status of COVID-19 in preparation for our 34th Annual International Symposium, June 4-7, in Louisville, KY. Through this entire process our conviction above all else has been to protect the health and safety of our members, demonstrators, trade show vendors, partners, and other event attendees.

Today, due to the seriousness of COVID-19, and adhering to international, federal, and state advisories and legal impossibility mandates, the AAW Board of Directors unanimously approved the cancellation of the 2020 AAW Symposium.

Complete details about the cancellation, including process for full registration refunds and future plans, will be provided very soon.

As we continue to address the impacts of this challenging situation, we thank you for your patience, understanding, flexibility, and support.

We know this is disappointing for all of us, and we thank you for the notes of support we’ve received during this process.

Best wishes for health, safety, and care to each of you and to those you care about.

Kind regards,

Phil McDonald, Executive Director on behalf of the AAW Board of Directors and Staff
