If you win you get to figure out what to do with it. You're not really going to turn on it and mess up all Pho's airbrushing, are you?
I'll probably buy a chance at the Symposium, but SWMBO has already stated that I'll not be allowed to put it in the living room, and, if I do bring it home, she's not giving up her side of the garage and I will be solely responsible for dusting it.
I contacted the AAW office and was told simply that, in effect, the local chapters had to have contacted the AAW and requested tickets. If they don't have them you are out of luck.
Neither of my 2 clubs received any tickets or notice thereof to the best of my knowledge so something has fallen through the cracks here. I'd advise finding someone attending you trust and giving them your money and info for them to fill out at the event.
I will be bringing the lathe up to St. Paul from Binh's place. When I talked with him last week he was trying to make arrangements to get some tickets to various clubs for sale. I would suggest sending him an e-mail to get your tickets or to expedite the process of getting them to your club. And FYI...you don't have to be present to win.
I can tell you the poster looks good, but does not do justice to the actual painting. He has spent a tremendous amount of time on this, and it shows in the detail.
I know this is going to get me in trouble....but what the hell......the first thing I would do is sand blast it and repaint it mustard again!!!! Dont worry...Im not going to buy any tickets
Dang you Jerry. I just took a swig of beer while reading your response. Now I need to clean my computer keyboard, screen, desk and etc and etc and etc.
Sorry about the keyboard!!!!!! but dog gone it if god wanted them any other coller other than mustard...he would have told powermatic to make them so!!!!!!!!
