1971 Curly Birdseye Maple Centerpiece.

Completed 6-13-2022. The bowl block originally had 16% MC, and after roughing, it took a total of 5 months to stabilize. 11 5/16" x 2 13/16", 1 lb 3.6 oz, sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff. Sold within one week for $185. I'm not sure you can technically call these "birdseyes" but they do resemble them.....sort of, but not a perfect match. Maybe they are baby branches, instead????? If you have an opinion about that, let me know.....thanks.

Beautiful piece as always, Odie. I love that you make the bottom as elegant as the rest of the bowl. Superb craftsmanship! I'm sure you have been asked a million times, but what is the significance of the Scrabble piece X8?

Thank you for your comments, Fal.... :)

I have an Etsy shop, and it's recommended to include something in the photo that gives the viewer some visual reference as to the size of the item being sold.

You're right.....I get asked that question frequently!
