2 small boxes

These boxes are turned from Granadillo wood and are 3" sq and 2 5/8" sq respectively. Both have threaded tops to keep their contents secure. Each box takes a full day to complete and its back and forth between the wood lathe and Rose Engine lathe. It's difficult to part off a square blank into a top and bottom keeping square cuts and clean corners for a tight joint, I recently made 6 of these boxes and I am happy with the process and end result now, Finished with Yorkshire grit.
