Texturing detail on my madrone platter. The dot texturing was done with a PowerCrafter and two small bits. It's my "zen" experience at the end of the project to listen to some good music while I make thousands of random holes in the wood -- very therapeutic.

Very nice texture. I like the fact that you left a little ring of smooth wood to border the textured area. Did you add black coloring to the divots or is that just shadow in the photo?
