The forms are clearly borrowed from Benoît Averly's work on the cover of American Woodturner in 2019. I tried to add my own twist by using the grain structure to interact with the form, in contrast to Benoit's use of surface texture. The two smaller ones were practice, leading up to the tall one which is my favorite. The tallest one measures 15" H x 6.75 W x 4 D. One of the small ones was scorched. White ash, finished with Osmo Polyx and buffed.
