Basket Illusion Platter

This a new basket illusion design I have never done before. It is inspired by Harvey Meyer's Celtic Square Knot basket illusion platters. This design gives the illusion of squares that are weaved under and over each other. 11.5" diameter. Hard maple with 120 radial lines. Colored with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. Finished with a couple coats of semi-gloss lacquer. Rim decorated with wood burner with skew tip.
