Big Leaf Maple mirror

I turned this as one piece and then carved the handle. Boy was is scary. Like turning a one blade propeller. Turning it wasn't so scary. It was reaching around it to shut the lathe off that made me leary. My remote switch was brocken and that gave me the incentive to buy the parts to repair it.
