Black and White Ebony Round Bottom Box

Another round bottom box coming your way, this time from a nice piece of Black and White Ebony (Diospyros malabarica) This piece has a really good contrast between the black heartwood lines and the white sapwood. B&W Ebony is really hard to get, but this piece was large and dry which is really rare! Turned, hollowed, and finished with abrasive wax. Size is 2" diameter x 1-7/8" tall. I do a lot of the same designs with different woods, I find designs that I have not made in a specific wood, then turn those, but it does not get old, at least not yet!
