7 1/2 inches tall, 3 inches dia. Box and lid are poured epoxy, 1/4" - walls. finial is two piece, ebony. The bottom 1/5th of the finial is the lid locking knob, turn clockwise and the lid is locked. the upper part of the finial is the un-locking button, push down to unlock.
