Boxelder Jar

The figure in this chunk of burl is excellent. I tried several combinations of dyes and sanding before settling on this one with red, black and yellow. Finished with Osmo Polyx and buffed. 5.5" high by l5" diameter

That's some beautiful wood! The complex grain patterns are really striking. Is the "15"diameter" a typo? Because picture makes me think it's more like 5".
