Very creative touch with the carving on this one, Dale. I especially like the effect it leaves on the rim of the bowl. Because the photography doesn't accent it very well, I almost missed the void near the bark inclusion.

Thank you, guys, for your helpful comments. Gary, I didn't think of using color becauuse I want to see the wood. I did worry, however, that the burl was "too busy" for the form.
