Candlestick Revisited

I made a few of these multi-axis candlesticks eight years or so ago and thought I would see if I remember how. It is made from a rejected blackwood oboe bell. I picked a bell with some sapwood, as this was a practice piece. Now that it is done I kind of like the bit of sapwood. It is also noticeably darker than the older ones that I have. I sanded this one off the lathe. I was able to keep the edges sharper than sanding them with the lathe running. They are finished just with Renaissance wax and Beall buffed.
