Ambrosia Maple Platter

The heart of a crotch feather is as hard to catch as a loose chicken. It is something I do often, the loose chicken that is. I do try and position the prettiest part of a crotch in the best possible place when working on one. This one is close. The bottom of the platter has better feather but it's still a nice piece. 13x2" finished with linseed oil and Mahoney's Walnut Oil Wax.
