Jim, thanks for posting. It really does look like a night sky! Reminds me of spending time camping in the Mojave desert when I lived in Las Vegas. Great effect!
 
OK, Jim .... nice effect, but, how do you get the silver solder to stick to the wood? CA glue? Trade secret? ;)

Tom - No real secret. I insert 1/4 inch rods of solder into the wood then heat it up until the solder melts. Most of it will stay in place but I do add a couple of coats of Waterlox to the top after burning. The Waterlox will help bind any loose pieces.
