I'm channeling my inner Hoff. 
The log this came from was completely covered in mushrooms. It's been in the wood pile for two years. The sapwood was like a sponge, but the heartwood was solid.
4.5" x 3" (roughly). Sanded to 320, followed by Yorkshire grit, and finished with Mylands.
On the inside, I used only Yorkshire grit after sanding.
