Cherry Burl Wide rim bowl

Approx. 8.5" dia. x 5" h
The piece was so unstable, due to the density of the burl on one side and the decay on the other, that it never really turned true. I liked what was going on with the grain changing from plain to burl, so i decided to make it a wide rim bowl.
Filled in places with crushed turquoise.

Comments and feedback always welcome!
I don't blame you for wanting to save that. Well worth the effort. Beautiful bowl.
