Red Burl Duo

This pair was turned from some dried out Silver Maple Burl with ambrosia streaks. The form is elongated with a gradual curve.

I did some sanding and color blending after applying the red dye. I can see where dyeing pretty burl figure can become habit forming.

Finish: Dyed Red & Yellow + 5 coats of Oil finish.

Dims: 10 3/4" H x 6 1/2" D,
7 1/4" H x 5" D

So, please tell me what you think
Good job, Andy. The dye brings out the figure better than leaving it natural, I think. I 'll have to try it.
