Walnut Box

Here's a walnut box with some texturing, woodburning and a pendant insert on top. The woodburned trees on the box's side were meant to go with the tree insert on top. 5" dia. X 2-1/2" tall. This was turned face-grain and luckily it's been very stable so far (a month). Finished with Tung Oil and Ren wax. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.

I like your box and the insert is very interesting particularily since I like using inserts on my boxes.

That is a beauty Don. Carrying the theme of the insert to the carving on the side really unifies the design. Nice work! I would like to see this one myself.
