"River"

I have not been turning for a while due to personal commitments and a few major projects on the home front.

I am now able to get into the shop for a turning session once in a while so I thought I would freshen my album with a white birch crotch hollow form I finished. This crotch held my pop cans outside the shop door for two years while spalting. While cleaning up it was time to turn or burn, I chose turn. I named it River as the bark inclusions and grain reminds me of the current and stream bed of the Turtle River near my house.

The finish is oil/varnish. 6x4, hollowed through a 5/8 opening.
Thanks for looking! C&C welcome.
A beautiful piece of nature's handiwork that you have framed with an excellent form and finish!
