Spalted Maple Goblet

I had a small chunk of spalted maple lying in the shop and decided to try a goblet. Was I ever surprised at the amount of decisions that go into a goblet design, proportions were involved everywhere and a balance had to be reached with the delicateness of the spalting and thinness/thickness. I can now better appreciate the goblet work done by others. This is the result of my attempt, 3.25x6, finish is oil/varnish. Tell me what you think.
