Hen: body - birch, lid - honey locust, wings - tan oak, legs & finial - cherry (8.5t x 7.5w x 6.75 d)
Chicks: bodies - walnut, lids - mahogany, wings - maple, legs & finials - euginia (standing: 4.125t x 3.75w x 2.875d, sitting: 2.75t x 2.25w x 2.625d)
These guys have been scuttling in the recesses of my thought, and a few months ago finally appeared in the shaving of my shop. Ive only seen a few adults and wasnt sure where they came from; then I caught sight of this family. Their evolution is bound to continue, as they are fun little creatures to play with.
