Two Board Box #2

From a 6.5"x5/4 board. Probably should have settled for less size and made it equilateral, but this isn't bad. Only turnings I've done this entire week. Flat work and gardening eat up a lot of time.
Hey Jeff. Of course we have to do flat work when the spouse requests (?) it. That, the laundry, the lawn and garden, not to mention the shelves for the ... your task here ... which she "must have asked you to do about ten times." Birch has lovely chatoyance with just shellac on it, but it never really shows in the picture. This with my new camera. Broke the 3 megapixel barrier. Now I can do 8x10 still, and moving of the parade tomorrow to send to the big kid in Baghdad.

i like it, and i never thought to do something like that,it does not have to be large, just something for a side table
