Blue Blue Monday

First post in a while

Blue Blue Monday is an 18 inch tall birch piece. It has been painted with copper paint and 3 different acids for patina. The finial is maple.

The colors are fantastic, Ronald, nicely done. For my taste and for such a nice tall vessel, I think the finial, although nice in itself, actually detracts from the piece. Question, what copper paint did you use? I'm sure many of us would like to know your coloring technique.

i love this color combo blue & copper have always appealed to me. I think it would look good without the finial, but looks ok with it too.
