Twister Bowl

10.75" x 7.5", made with Maple, Cherry, Wenge, Yellowheart and Bloodwood. The design is taken from a bowl I did awhile back, called "Sliding Colors". But with this bowl did not insert spacer rows and I made the offset 5/8" instead of 1/4". I made the Sliding Colors bowl before I seen Hal Metlitzkys work, but I can not say the same about this bowl.

Viewed from the top the spacing and colors are truly an amazing visual effect. Fantastic piece!
