Coolibah Burl. Approx. 11" x 8" x 7/8" tall. Thickness about 1/8". I wanted something different for a stand so I used a scrap piece of burl, sanded it flat and cut a slot with the BS. Finish is wipe on gel poly and Beall buffed.
I like it. I've never turned Coolibah Burl. The center is darker in spots. Is that the nature of the wood or is it a result of your finishing process? Must have been fun turning and sanding the extremities.
