BBB Auction Piece

I made this piece earlier in the year and it was donated to our local BBB for a charity auction. It is 14" X 4.5. Big Leaf Maple Burl for the body, ebony finial and Padauk collar with carved texture and metallic paint. The voids have been inlayed with copper filings. The bottom of the cap is decorated similarly to the top.
It wonder what the copper inlay might look like after it gets a little patina. Ever tried spraying the copper to accelerate the patina process?
