Turned Spoon

2018 - “Club Challenge – Make a Spoon” ~.

Ash – turned on 4 axes – 3 to make the cup & curved handle - 7½"l. x 2¼"w. x 1½"h.

Since we are a woodturning club I figured I should make a turned spoon as well as the carved one previously posted. Handle was dyed with yellow & white dye and sanded back between colors. Cup exterior colored with bronze metallic paint.
@Chuck Lobaito
Chuck, this was a one-off piece made more than two years ago....not sure if I could repeat it. :) And I'm technologically challenged (and physically) - don't even have a smart phone!....and haven't turned anything in 7 months. So, thanks for the offer but no to the demo....sorry.
