Very Veneery

Okay, I know 'veneery' is not really a word, but maybe it got your attention. This 10-inch tall vase was turned from a variety of veneers and woods, including ash, cedar, mahogany and walnut. The segmenting and veneer approaches used were inspired by an article from Jim McConnachie in a recent article of the British Woodturning magazine (issue #354). Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system
Sorry, I meant Woodturning, the British equivalent of American Woodturner. It is an excellent magazine and comes out monthly. Electronic subscriptions are available at: 'https://pocketmags.com/us/woodturning-magazine' You can get a single digital issue (such as issue 354) for $3.99 and then decide if you want a longer subscription.
