Sycamore Yo-Yo Lided Box

Today's turning: # 2021-08 in the Not-Just-A Box series, and the first to use a rubber "bumper" yo-yo. The box measures about 3.1" wide and 2.9" tall. There is a small lip inside the box body for the butterfly fixed axle yo-yo to sit on, and room for string storage.
How does the axle work?
