Underside of carving the detailed lamella is more visible in this photo.
I looked back at your first caption and answered my question, Still they are amazingly detailed. Great work.

Thank you very much, Norman. The details are pyrography cuts. They literally carve into the wood. The “gills” are then painted and dry-brushed.
