Maple Rolling Pin

I recently had a request for a rolling pin of a specific size, with handles the same style as the one she had. I know this isn’t very artistic, but it will have the owner rolling in the dough. The Maple pin is 10” x 3” and the Walnut handles are 3”. The axles for the handles are also Maple. The Maple parts are finished with a bees wax mineral oil blend and I used Danish oil on the handles. For a simple project there were some challenges. The first was finding a suitable dry Maple blank for 3” around, then to keep all the parts to specific tolerances and to make the handles the same.
