Alabaster Box

An alabaster box inspired by Cindy Drozda and Max Krimmel (3 3/4" D x 6 1/2" H, ~3/16" wall thickness). The alabaster is from the state of Colorado. The thin dividers and the base are mesquite. The finial and the segmented rim are desert ironwood. Mesquite was chosen for the project for not only its beauty but more importantly, its stability.
Turning stone now Andy? Love what you have done Brother! What adhesive did you use between the Alabaster and the Mesquite?

I would have used Gorilla Max Strength construction adhesive if I had not read Max Krimmel's methods on working with alabaster. He impregnates the stone with diluted Weldbond PVA glue and bonds wood with alabaster with the same glue.
