Curly's Ant Farm

My friend Ron is a top notch turner, and I think he is turning into a snob.
I dragged him (almost kicking and screaming) to a "discovery." We started chopping away at this gigantic tree trunk, and I cut out this part, ants crawling all over it...I was TRYING to be nice when I offered it to him, he wasn't finding anything that he wanted to use (I had found quite a bit).
He said "I'm not going to turn that Ant Farm!!!" I told him there was some nice curl in it, and he said "I DON'T CARE." so I turned it, holes and all, ants flying everywhere.
I thought it was pretty cool.

I agree, it is pretty cool! You have a good eye for what to save and skills to pull it off. Thanks for posting, George.
