Shaving Brush and Stand

This is part of a set, His and Hers Bath Set, made for the SWAT & OTI conference auction this year.

All the wooden pieces were made from a single piece of desert ironwood. The finish is Tried & True Original. The piece is 6 1⁄2” tall, 2 1⁄2” diameter.

Ornamentation was added using an MDF Rose Engine 2.0.

The shaving brush stand was made using steel parts I welded together and spray painted. I had to make my own stand as I could not find one which held only the brush.

Rich, that is just spectacular! Very impressive. Is the ironwood resistant to water enough for this to be functional? Gaackk! What am I saying? No way I'd ever risk ruining this by using. Nevermind.
