Textured Walnut

This piece has a subtle hammered texture. 8.75”d x 5”h
Had to magnify to see the texture. Cool idea but must have taken all afternoon. Did you use a needle scaler?
Thanks, Gerald. I use an electric engraver with a round headed nail mounted where the scribe would be. Not as fast as a needle scaler, but I feel more in control of it. I split the texturing up over two evenings, probably an hour and a half total.
