Because of the very delicate nature of the worm activity on one side, this bowl presented some very difficult obstacles to overcom.....that is, without breaking off some of these very small and delicate pieces. The only way to do it is to have very sharp tools using very light cuts. 8 3/4" x 2 1/'16", 9.5oz. Initial block had 14% MC, and after roughing, it took a total of 6 months to stabilize. Sanded to 600gt, Danish Oil Natural, Beall 3-step buffed. It was finished on 6/17/2024, and sold for $245 on 7/20/2024.

This piece isn't made from some exotic imported wood, it's walnut and wormy, for heavens sake. There aren't many folks that could take that imperfect wood and get these results, Odie. Well done.

Yeah, so many new people are moving here, that the real estate prices are getting ridiculous!.....and my taxes are going up, too! :(
