Pumpkin time

For some reason every year around this time I have an itch to incorporate a pumpkin into my work. Just a basic shallow bowl(platter) that can be used for halloween or thanksgiving. Wood is greenish tulip poplar and pumpkin painted with acrylic pain.
Love the look of the platter, William. I understand the seasonal intent with the pumpkin, but I think it takes away or distracts from your lovely plate. Just my 2¢. Curious ... how did you get the perfectly drawn / incised lines on the pumpkin? Laser, stencil ... ???
