I try to turn several bowls a week. I usually have several finished waiting to turn the tenon off and do all those at one time. I have several with first coat of oil on and various stages of completion. 120 bowls drying and waiting for the second turning and probably 100+ finished and in inventory. I’ll start turning more green bowls around October…..I love this hobby!!!!

Thank you, but I just gotta turn something, get a little jittery if I go a day or two with out turning. And I think I just saw y where you posted four turnings…..you just trying to make us look bad….make that seven turnings, defiantly making us look bad!

This one is really great. How thin is the wall and what tools do you use to hollow?

Its ranges from 1/8” to 1/4”. I’ve done about 12 hollow forms and the thin one are really light so I try to taper the bottom to 1/4” to give a little weight to sit on the table.
I use Lyles system and plan to buy a couple of Trent Bosch tools to use with it.
