BLM Burl Cap Bowl

The 2nd of 3 burl cap bowls I'm working on. To my knowledge these are all from the same tree last spring. This one I think is the nicest piece of burl with no bark voids, the difference between an air burl and a root burl. There are no carved feet as the bottom just didn't allow it. Finished with tung oil, 24" x 19" with an 11" bowl, I core these pieces to maximize the burl.
