Duncan Pointed Satellite replica

In the 1950's, Duncan Toys designed a prototype yo-yo called the Pointed Satellite. It was never released into production, and only 2 or 3 still exist. This replica is my interpretation of the Duncan prototype...Hard Maple base wood with a 3-layer acrylic lamination and a cap of Afzelia Burl. Each of the layers are bonded with 2-part epoxy.
Nice job Ed. I do remember way way back when Duncan was the elite yo-yo. I wish I kept mine.
Thanks...new-school Duncan just doesn't compare to old-school wooden wonders.

Ed - Great job on the yo yo. Why use 2-part epoxy to bond the layers? Titebond or similar not suitable? - John
