Triangle Overload Spin Top Box

Maple, Bocote, US Penny, pyrography, watercolor. 2.5"d x 4.25h. I carved the stem to be triangular in cross-section. I've done a few demo on making this type of box. The lid is a spin top that utilizes a domed (hammered to shape) coin as the spin bearing, in this case a US Penny.

Super nice Michael! The coloring is so saturated and the box shape is really nice. It also looks like fun to line the lid back up with all of the different triangle colors!
