Barley twist goose egg cup

I was going going to enter this months contest but I blew the laquer finish and had to strip it and start over. Don't laquer on rainy days in an open garage! The cup is maple with ebony stain and laquer finish, the egg is unknown burl with teak oil, burnished and buffed. My first attempt at barley twist.
