Bowl O' Fire

Cherry vessel turned and carved as a part of an Elizabeth Weber workshop hosted by the Stateline Woodturners (Rogers, AR). Flutes were carved with a flex shaft tool with a large angry carbide bit. The curly maple inserts were actually an accident when I sanded through with a spindle sander. Decided to make them all the same and glue in curly maple veneer cut to shape on a laser cutter. Finish is wipe on poly.
