Serial 25003 Model UTDT0611000 Butternut Burial Urn

6" diameter X 11" high The body is one piece with the pith in the base and the lid is segmented 4 squares per layer with a rosewood finial. The wood for the base and lid , with the exception of the finial all came from the same tree. The female thread in the base is 8TPI and CA was necessary to cut a clean thread in the soft butternut. The male thread on the lid is cut cleanly without CA due to it being side grain.
